Jager v Cheap heater.

This is a video of a Eheim Jager aquarium heater and a cheaper aquarium heater. These heaters are both on and heating up out of water, they are then dropped in to cold water. See the difference quality glass can make to an aquarium heater. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!

I may be retarded, but I’ve broken two heaters during water changes when I’ve tugged the cable and it’s come above the water line and heated up unoticed, so that it shatters. Loads of people have to buy new heaters just because the last one shattered.

yeah difference in quality you wont need…even if you let a cheap heater get hot dry you wont throw it in cold water anyone with a few working brain cells knows sudden change of temperature in glass and some metals will cause them to crack.

maybe better quality but i wouldnt spend 3 times the money i would on a reg heater just so i could do cold watter dipping tricks.
