So it says on the back of the cardboard box to do a bunch of stuff and then on stage 5 you’re supposed to… "start with the pilot light off. Turn indicator knob clockwise only until pilot light goes on"..

My question is.. where the heck is the pilot light?
When I turned the knob, I didn’t see any light light up… where is it supposed to light up?…

On the front of those heaters below the water line there will be a little red light that comes on when you get it set to just above the water temperature. You need to turn the dial on the top till you see that light come on.
