Triops SeaMonkeys

We obtained this Triops & SeaMonkeys kit over Christmas vacation 2008. The temperature at our house is around 66F, so we set up a water bath using a small aquarium and a small aquarium heater. We used R/O-DI water of conductivity 0. Temps in the tank are around 78-84F. Sea Monkeys hatched in about 48hours, Triops hatched in 24hrs.

If your aquarium heater has a thermostat to turn itself off, why can't you use a 50 watt heater in a 2.5 gallo?

It’s nice you got them separated because the triops easily eat the sea-monkeys once they’re big enough. Very aggressive triops are :D

But I have a couple triops in early stages. They’re very interesting. ^.^
