Will my artificial plants burn/melt if i put it near an aquarium heater?

It is a 5.5 gallon tank with a 50 watt heater. The tank is currently being held at 74-75F. I want to try to hide the heater by putting it behind my artificial plants, but i am afraid it will melt/burn the plants. Will this happen?

Your plants should be fine. Just to be sure you need to get a pump or somthing to mix the water around. If your really worried how about some real plants many are cheaper than fake ones and better for the fish and also most real plants don’t need much care so like fake place in the tank and leave.
By the way plants cannot burn under water as there is not enough oxygen

is there a way to adjust aquarium heater?

Not as long as you have water circulation, such as a filter. I’ve done this plenty of times to keep angels from spawning on the heater, fried eggs.

you can put ur plants next to the heater with NO PROBLEM. I have my heater behind a plant and is perfectly fine. My fish enjoys chillin’ with his buddy, the heater :) )

unless the plants are TOUCHING the heater.. there’ll be no problems

convection will carry cooler water around the plant so that i never gets too hot
