I was just given a 55 gal aquarium with 2 types of hood lights.?
the one is for lighting the tank and the other is for growing plants. We need to buy a filter for this tank and wanted to try to start a saltwater aquarium (slowly) so I need to learn the basics. Is there a good website or something to get informed b4 I start the process.
talk to your local fish store and they will help you better than any website i warn you though saltwater tanks can be expensive if you have about 500-1000 to spend then do if not go for freshwater which would be a lot ceaper and easier
