My 75 gallon aquarium (Let’s learn fish)

Here’s a slideshow of my 75 gallon aquarium! The slideshow starts after I had just set the aquarium up and ends when I get the setup complete and running smoothly.

Here’s my setup:
75gallon aquarium with hood
Compact florescent lights w/ moon lights (the fan is noisy, I don’t recommend it)
Magnum 350 filter (old filter, but love the diatom powder filtration)
Visi-therm stealth (Not quite sure if I like this heater or not. Temp seems to vary a little too much)
Two koralia powerheads (love these things, but kind of bulky)

Substrate (in order of layers):
Red flint gravel (on top)
Eco complete
Red clay (for iron and minerals, on bottom)

You’ll notice I have no CO2 source. I decided to go the “flourish excell” way. I really don’t recommend doing this, but hey, at least it works.

List of fish:
Harliquin Rasboras
Glass catfish
Kuhli loaches
Cherry shrimp
Amano or Algae shrimp
rosy barbs (very energetic fish)
leopard longfin danios (Prone to dropsy, keeping good water quality is a must)
zebra danios (Same as leopards)
Elegant (?) rasboras
vampire shrimp(mabye dead? If you’re tempted to buy this critter, don’t. It’s a waste of 20$.)
otocinclus catfish

Enjoy!
