how much roughly do aquarium lights cost?

my aquarium light burnt out and im wondering what the price range is for new ones.

in NZ i paid like $200nzd for mine which is a 3ft one! expensive i think… so if you half that i guess thats what you would pay for a 3ft good quaility light

its at least 50% cheaper to go to a hardware stor and get one, some hardware stores seel lights specific for aquariums, if they dont reaserch the kind of light you need before purchasing

How longs a piece of string?

Or more to the point, how long is your light fitting?

An aquarium light could be as simple as an energy saver bulb in a desk lamp, or hundreds of dollars for a metal halide fitting?

But if you are on a budget, electrical section of a hardware strore is a good palce to start.

    HAH!

Anywhere from 15.99-700.99$ , that all depends on the type of lighting, the size of the lighting, the longevity of the lighting and brand.

And it’s a whole different story for saltwater lighting but for a ballpark in a 55g a 48" light strip with a decent brand is about 29.99$

    Good luck!
