I have brown algae and i want to get blue lights for my aquarium?

is the blue light enough to eliminate the algae problem
ok so brown algae is caused by poor illumination, will the blue lights provide enough proper light to prevent the brown algae from forming
BUCE B: I cant decide if you are being for real
oh and twice a week? that would seriously upset the biofilter no?

Blue light pulse will cause rapid photosynthesis of some algaes

Does it matter when your aquarium light is on?

No, i use a toothbrush on my tank and a magnet brush as well. The light has no effect.

no any kind of light will help the algae grow because of the heat it gives off. I would suggest getting a sucker fish to help get rid of your algae problem. and then you can get your blue lights.

I would rinse my tank twice weekly with fresh goats milk. Goats milk is acid based. This will offset the algae and bring a bright gleeming shine once you refill. It will also temporarally remove the "fishy" smell. Have a pleasent day my fish loving friend!
