sweet tank, my …
sweet tank, my suggestion would be to add a few large rocks that would match the background so it would look more 3D…I have river pebbles 1-1.5cm in my tank and would it be better to add finer gravel for my plants?

its recomended to …
its recomended to use 2 watts per gal. but it depends on the plants you get for those plants they’ed do pretty good with what you have but more watts would be a little better for them, but no sand, sand prevents poop and other nutrients from getting to the roots of the plants… as far as co2 goes, fish release co2 just like humans so the more fish you have the more co2 you have… though surface movement releases that co2 into the atmosphere, you want to keep that co2 into the tank your welcome
the more plants the …
the more plants the more co2 the more co2 the more oxygen the more oxygen the happier fish… as long as they can swim and not bump into each other…
I’m sorry nobody …
I’m sorry nobody answered your question I know how that can be… no you don’t have to have really anything special but I would stay away from sand depending on the type of plants you get… BUT, it would help a lot if you had either things like flourite, laterite,
clay gravel, something that has iron it, which plants thrive on, plus the poop that sinks in between the the gravel to the roots of the plants, plus surface movement releases co2 that fish exhale the less surface movement the better

could someone help …
could someone help me please, im trying to set up a tank and was woundering if the plants need anything in the gravel to help them grow like soil or something or do they grow ok in just the gravel/sand?
hey, i’m looking at …
hey, i’m looking at completely planting my 30 gal (about 120 liters) and i know that plants need CO2, which as you get more plants will become more in demand, so it is common to use a co2 injector, etc. but i also know that too much CO2 can harm fish. how do you make sure that you have enough CO2 for your plants, but not enough to stress
or harm your fish?
Very beautiful tank …
Very beautiful tank - I love the java moss & driftwood. I have a low-light planted tank (no video sorry) that does fairly well - but not as glorious as yours! I was going to ask about the background, too - but saw the answer above. Great tank!
