small puffer fishes that are sold in stores(petland,etc,)are they as poisonous even for aquarium tanks ?

how poisonous are they? i have a small boxfish and a porcupine puffer.

    I don't know about small ones, but I've heard people die from the full sized ones….

    I am not very knolwedgeable on the poison but make sure if you buy them that they are in the right water. So called freshwater puffers are mostly Brackish water fish.
