Transferring and moving fish to different tanks?

I currently have a 10g tank. In it are 2 australian rainbow fish,4 corydoras, and 1 otocinclus. In 4-8 weeks I am going to add fish into a 15g aquarium((tank is being cycled)). How do these set-ups sound?

For the 10g I am going to put in 4 guppies, 3 platies, and 2 golden zebra danios. (all males) I am also adding 2 more otos to the current 1 in the tank.

For the 15g I am going to put in my rainbows and corydoras with the addition of 3 otocinclus.

***Sound good or am I overcrowding my tanks?Anything you think I should add?***

It all sounds pretty good except for those Australian rainbows – they're schoolers, they get to a pretty good size, and really need a much bigger tank to grow into. You should really replace them with a smaller and more suitable tetra or rasbora type fish, that way you can keep a proper school of them and they won't outgrow the tank. Danio's are pretty fast swimmers for such small tanks too, but at least they stay small.

How can I clean and old aquarium tank that has hard water build up?
