A combination of 8x 54 Watts fluorescent lighting and 2x 70 Watts HQI over timers illuminates the tank. Currently only half of the tubes are on during the day and evening. The HQI lamps are added in the evening.

20L Planted aquarium - 03/07/09

This is my new 20 gallon long planted tank. This tank is new so I only have one plant, a Tiger Lotus bulb that has just started to grow. I have an Aqua Clear 20 and a Tetra Tech 5-15 filter. I have a Coralife light fixture that puts out 36 watts. The substrate is about 2″ of Eco Complete. My fish are 5 Guppies and 1 Plecostomus. That thing that I hold up at the end is a CO2 diffuser for when I get around to adding it. This is the first video of many so check back to see how it turns out. Enjoy and comment.
